Some days are just nuts! Afterwards you just wonder, how the heck I found time for all that?
Day started with HUGE breakfast with all fresh herbs and stuff from the garden. Triple espresso and morning news. After the brains have waken up, time for daily language practice and writing.
After noon, I hit the gym and pushed myself to the limits. Great workout must say, leg day tho which I hate from the bottom of my heart.
Pushing myself
Hunger games kicks in, could eat a horse in this point.. Fire to the pit and time to lift my outdoor frying pan. Couple of friends joined for the lunch and we ate 3kilos of those tiny delicious shrimps with garlic and chilies.
Few beers and Caribbean rum was tasted also.
Open fire cooking
Friend asked for tattoo, so we did that. Oldie hand holding cloverleafs. One has already dropped out, because he had some up and downs. Other one is also getting little worn out but last still hold on tight… He wants to believe that, there is still luck for him left after all.
I used only 7round liner needle with this and “whipped” all the shades.
There is four shades of black in this piece, and it took around four hours to make. Still in progress tho, pain was too much to make it ready, but next time it will be ready, few more flowers and tough outlines to come.
Fun piece tho, much fun to do.
Tattoo time
Before night I watched a new episode of the Marvel’s Secret Invasion. This is by far the most intense spy serie I have watched for a long time, highly recommend. You don’t need to know anything about MCU to watch this series, it’s top on!
Night time fishing
Clock was turning to midnight and evening was calm and weather perfect for fishing. I packed all my fishing gear to the boat and went to the river.
First hour I was just rowing and listening radio. Around 1pm I started fishing.
I got one rainbow trout on my line and started fighting to get it in the boat.
After short fight it was coming so close to the boat, but suddenly it cuts my line and got away… damn!
I did light my cigar and started taking photos of the surrounding river and sunset.
It’s not anymore the midnight sun, but it’s still quite clear sky.
Returned home and watched a movie.
That’s one of my proactive days on vacation. Sometimes friends ask: “how you have time for all the things you do..?”
Well the answer is simple: “we all have th same amount of hours in the day”
You just have to do things you like and make sure that you don’t waste any of those precious hours of the day to the nonsense.
Of course there is many things that I did not listed, like spending time with kids, reading book, playing guitar… but those are just normal thing which are part of daily routines.
Live a little, don’t get stuck in the nonsense around you.
