Do you remember life before the internet?
Actually I do remember and Chrystal clear.
That was the time when we used to get so shitfaced that we threw the bathhouse out of the door, straight to the snow!!!
We had time and lots of stupid ideas.
Then if you wanted to know something, you had to check it from the dictionary.
I still do have hundred of books from the time before the internet and I still use them, weird eh?
Oh I miss the times, when you wanted to listen some new band and you had to walk to the library, just to get noticed that it’s not available at the moment.
Oh, and those times when you tried to solve some problems, without google.
It was so much fun when you had to the person who knew and could show you “howTo” -method.
Also I miss the time when TV censoring was SO INTENSE, that you could not see any horror flicks from TV.
I had to buy sellers magazine and pay for the announcement pages.
Then next week magazine had my payed text, where I listed the movies which I want to buy in VCR.
Week from that some dude published text with address and I had to send money for him.
Then I just waited and hoped that I receive recorded horror movie from sky channel.
After three week, I finally got the flick, if the guy wasn’t troll.
Also, if I wanted to learn something, I had to go to the library and find a book.
Then when the salary was on the bank account, it was so much fun to walk into the bank and give your bills to that grumpy old timer who watched all your purchase history while paying your bills.
I do remember the time, but I ain’t missing it god damn.
Yours. “Old timer” Jay
