S U M M E R .. H O L I D A Y !
Why summer holiday? Oh c’mon! I’ve born In the darkest time of the year and also the coldest time of the year.
Location is quite cold also.
Living on the North side of the Arctic circle makes you love sun and summertime.
There is so many things what you can do, when you are having the midnight sun and endless possibilities outdoors.
Summer activities are my favorite things to do and summer holiday is the time to enjoy them.
Fishing at summertime is so relaxing and therapeutic for the restless mind of mine.
You can be hours in the river, even without the catch.
Sure you might get hungry in the process, but it’s okay to have little fasting… it keeps you motivated for the activity.
Again for all you “save the fish” hippies out there, I’m taking only what I eat, it’s not sport for me.
Like in heading image, scenery of this planet makes you come back again and again.
How can you not to enjoy scenery, which looks like a laptop screensaver?
When the summer is ending and midnight sun is gone, we have dark nights, but mostly warm nights.
Perfect for the festival overdose!
Live music and people around the festival area is so energizing that it keeps you wanting more, every year.
There was a small cap with festivals, well because of the Covid-19, but it’s old fainted memory already.
No more social distance in the live happenings.
Long story short, summer holiday is my favorite because these and many more reasons.
I walk bare feet at summertime and I do go swimming in the river, every single day, no matter how cold it gets, it’s summer!

I know the answer!!!
Every single time when I’m enjoying myself.
- If I’m just sitting on the bench, feet in the river just wondering.
- The moment when I’m hanging around with my “boho wagon”
- Magical hours when I should go to sleep.
-Those moments when you are canoeing in the river and there ain’t no escape.
All you fish cruelty Karen’s out there, in my world it’s food.
It’s weird how you could be most productive, in the moments where you should not.
Perhaps my brains see the opening and activate creativity in me in those specific moments.
The absolute worst time for the inspiration is the golden moment before sleep. That is the main reason why I don’t sleep much. Normal night for me is 4-5 hours sleep, but I sleep so deep that I barely move. It’s like a coma when I’min the REM-stage.
Inspiration moves hand to hand with productivity in my case.
I’m like those nocturnal creatures. At the night time when everyone is sleeping, I’m doing many things.
This has always been the “normal” to me.
Of course M.D’s have their concerns, but I have lived like this for so long time. Perhaps on the older days I’m starting to have a naps, someone told me that’s what the elders do.
Hmm… Makes you thinking…

Question of the day..?
Drawing, prompt, questionHow do you unwind after a demanding day?
Hear me hear me!!! I have a method!!
Unwinding the day needs many steps.
I have noticed that every day might be different, but unwind method won’t have to be.
Running and going toy the gym works sometimes, but the best way is going to the secret place.
I have my “hiding spot” plain sight, in the corner of the room.
It’s called the “activity corner”
Yup, it’s not so secret and hidden yet, but after I buy my first “Wayne-Mansion” I’m definitely building book shelf with a secret entrance..
In the corner, there is many things to concentrate.
Here is few for example:
• Guitars (electric and acoustic)
• Jew harp
• Rythm egg/ cacixi
• PlayStation controller
• Books. (MUST BE MANY TO CHOOSE)
• pencils and notebooks
• lots of paper (for drawing)
• music headphones
• knitting equipment
• many different scissors
• glue and stuff for scrapbooking
• Camera and action camera
• magazines
Activity corner must be ready for every kind of situation.
You never know what you want to do when trying to unwind the day.
Of course music has big part of my process and I couldn’t even imagine unwinding the day without music.
Singing helps too, but I think my vocals are so bad that everyone around me need unwind method after hearing me sing.
Have to admit, my corner looks like a place where serial killer is lurking and planning the next horrible act of violence.
After all, it’s my corner and my method so who cares?
I know I won’t.
Try it, give it a chance.
Perhaps you’ll find your own lurking little psycho… but be careful, you might like it.

Daily Question…
daily question, desenhoDescribe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow.
There was a moment in my life where I realized how my brains work.
Sounds kooky right?
I noticed something weird about my behavior when I was at school.
Everyone had to learn by staring the book, or teacher in the eye.
I noticed that when I’m not sketching or lettering, it’s almost impossible to learn or memorize anything.
There we had a quite dilemma.
At the time when I was at school, there was NO WAY of learning with alternative methods, teachers said: “MY WAY OR THE HIGWAY”
Guess which was my option?
I was a school dropout and had to finish my school after the army service.
After service, I’ve learned one crucial thing.
If I’m sketching or lettering while learning, my brain goes to the “turbo-mode” and I REMEMBER EVERYTHING I HEAR!
Think about that, learning turned quite easy after that.
I’ve been using that method and I’ve graduated from many schools, I even learned new language.
Of course these days when I’m educating myself, the first thing what I tell to the professor or teacher is my weird way of learning.
Today I teach at work and I’m helping everyone to achieve their own way of learning.
More you know, I still haven’t got myself in trouble, or jail like all those wise old teachers said.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In the middle of the nowhere!
Yes, that’s my plan.
I’m also quite sure that I have got my “breakthrough” in my artistic career.
Not quite sure how, but mark my words.. I want it!
Why in the middle of the nowhere you might ask?
Well I have dreamt about the cabin where I could do my art and enjoy the silence.
Maybe sitting on the dock playing my guitar and dreaming for upcoming challenges.
After ten years my kids have probably gone to seek their own paths and I have to think something to entertain myself.
I’m not sure, am I working anymore at that point, because I want to believe that I don’t have to anymore.

ANGUS MacGyver that’s my final answer!!
You wanna know why?
Think about it, here was working or not working for some shady weird organization.
He is a kinda secret agent with a difference.
He is quiet, mild mannered, deeply principled and refuses to carry a gun on his missions.
Fortunately, the last detail is unimportant when compared to his astounding mind.
Drawing on a vast practical knowledge of science,
Macgyver is able to make use of any mundane materials around him to create unorthodox solutions to any problem he faces.
The enemies of world peace and justice continually learn that underestimating this man is a fatal mistake for their plans.
Conclusion:
You would have the adventures of a secret Agent, while not being an actual agent and you would be armed with almost infinite scientific resourcefulness.
I would also carry The Desert Eagle with that pocket knife.
