Hmm… let’s answer the prompt.

Have you ever had surgery? What for?

I would be lying to my teeth, if I said nah.
I’m more like a gladiator than normal family guy.
Of course the hobbies haven’t been the easiest ever. Let’s dig in!

When I was on Muay Thai Boxing, I did mess my face more than once, those were luckily fixed without surgery.
Nose is still pretty, but messed from inside.
Once got kicked so hard to my chin that my tooth cracked and had to remove on surgery, three stitches inside the mouth, didn’t like it.

Snowboarding accidents after the big air was pretty devastating but again fixed without surgery, although the time when I landed badly, my whole hip was dislocated.
Some doctors they just twisted it back some how..

Once as a kid I was doing parkour jump on the roof and got smashed to the asphalt. Hand was broken from few places and broken from three different spots. That accident needed big surgery and recovery time.

Then once at the Rugby game, the scrum twisted because the team we were against, didn’t match our strength, scrum fell to their side and because I was playing on the first row in the middle. (meathead) few of my ribs got broken and I also got broken sternum.
Weirdly, no surgery needed, breathing was pretty hard for a month.

Another time I blocked tackle so hard, that my face hit the runners elbow and the impact smashed left side of my face, and I mean totally…
There was literally no intact bones left on the area under my eye.

After few days I went to doctor and he laughed so much when he checked the X-ray pictures. Then he put me on the fast lane, and got surgery at very same day.

I also got lots of twisted places, but those are just fixed with twisting.

Oh yeah, almost forgot… once at work huge window fell on me and when I catch it, the weight tear something from my organs and those had to fix in some sort of surgery.

I still got time, but my hobbies are easier these days…

Yours. “Modern day gladiator” Jay
