What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.

I would definitely learn to fix cars. Not like just adding fuel or changing tires, but really fix them like mechanics do.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m quite handy but I absolutely positively hate fixing cars. Recently I had a problem with my car which perfectly suits for example case.

Winter arrived and huge snow blizzard hit to my home. Of course I haven’t changed my winter tires yet…( because lazy) and I had to do it before the morning shift.

Some of you must think: “That’s not a lot of snow” Yeah… I know, but it’s autumn here and yesterday my plan was to do some raking and lawn-mowing.. Winter came too soon this year.

We still have severe winter coming and 30 days and 30 nights without the sun.

First problem was the huge amount of snow on the top of slippery road and I had those summer tires under my car. It was horrible to drive but I managed.

So with the rush I started to change those tires. Of course one bolt went inside the rim, god knows where and I frustrated immediately.

Time to drive to the auto repair center!

Middle of the way that bolt got stuck and tyre was stuck in the middle of the street.

After three hours in snow blizzard and cold weather, I finally managed to release the brake.

This kind of situation is do-able, but I hate it so much. If I had the knowledge and tools for this kind of fixing it would be so much more simpler.

So answer to the prompt: I WOULD LEARN THE MYSTIC ART OF MECHANICS!

I’m so sick of doing anything to cars, but I live so far from the city that here is no public transportation and at the winter time, Mr. plow visits at the day time. That means, no bicycle or Escooter because the snowmobile would be the only thing that could be used in the snow.

Car is must have, if you want to work. Maybe someday I am lucky enough to fork at my studio and I can kiss goodbye for this kind of stupid problems.

But why haven’t you tried? Are you afraid of failure?

Well duh!

I would fail miserably because I know that my hate against the cars would destroy my learning motivation.

If there would be a magic wand which gave me the opportunity with option: “quaranteed not to fail” I would hesitate.
