Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a youth. What became of it?

Definitely the most obsessed item from the youth must be my first tattoo gun. There ain’t much of it left anymore, but still few parts of it I’m using today.

I still have the old frame on the wall of my studio as a reminder. I use coil machines because I have always liked the building part. These old coil machines are easy to fix and tune, even during the process.

I’ve been thinking lately that I would buy new rotary tattoo pen, but I’m still hanging on the thought where I’m considering myself as a coil artist.

Lately I have been thinking that should I remodel my first coil gun again. Only “old” piece in this machine would be the frame itself.

That was the time when I used old clip cords and pedal, this days I have moved to the RCA-connector and my friend build me pedal switch button long ago, so I don’t use pedal anymore.

I remember how tattoos interested me when I was a teenager and I took my first tattoo when I was 17 years old. Took about three years when I found my tattoo teacher and have been apprentice ever since.

These days I do he’s tattoos and he does mine, so it’s WIN-WIN situation pretty much.

But back to the topic and prompt, this item is still live and kicking although it has been stripped and remodeled hundreds of times.

Retired coil machine would be the specific description for the frame.

Yours. “Coil-lover” Jay
