Side projects 2. (And counting)

Okay people, time to try how this thing REALLY works.

Airbrushing is unknown area for me but that haven’t never stopped me, just slowed down little bit…

Getting started…

There was many things to do when I prepared this motorcycle helmet. Before you start painting, all “non-paint” areas must be covered. I was using masking tape and just normal copier paper.

Mixing paint…

This was the tricky part. Using airbrush paint thinner and metal paint was easy.. Mixing it up, that was hard… Paint has to be enough thin so it comes out from airbrush and it can’t be too thick… I can’t help you out anymore but after mixing paint it’s pretty much like regular milk… (Yup, trust me)…

Airbrushing the helmet…

I used just random skull stencil for outlines and started to paint.. Layer by layer, black, white, black etc.. And last round I made those shades.

It’s enough good for first try, still I have no idea how that airbrush needs to be set but I think it comes in time…

What I learned…?

Many things… Paint mixing is really hard thing to do. Setting the airbrush is important if you want to have good steady paint flow. Covering those parts you don’t wanna paint and grinding of course. Can’t make good work if helmet is full of scrathes.. Sand blasting would probably be most effective way but I did i by sandpaper…

That’s all for now, thanks for your time…

Day of the Dead tattoo

Why should we judge people for what’s on their skin?

Amen to that..

equinequeen

I absolutely despise the way our society has completely shunned the idea of being different. Expressing yourself, or your opinion has been set aside as “weird”. I have seen this evident in my very household. All of a sudden dying your hair, getting another ear piercing, or even the suggestion of getting a tattoo has become a huge NO. Now I will admit that I’ve been putting wild colors in my hair since middle school, and they’ve said okay with an eye-roll. But I have had people at church come up to me and practically (without literally verbalizing it) tell me that I was going to Hell because of the blue streaks in my hair. And I’ve read the Bible, and I’m a Christian, and I’m pretty sure that nowhere in there does it say that blue hair=damnation. I understand the point about the body being a temple for Christ, but…

Join to the dark side. . .

Epic Sleeve project begins…

Star wars has so many fans around the globe and on came to me. Lord Vader he wants and that’s were we start. In Future we will add some more cool Star Wars stuff like Death star, Tie fighter, sandpeople etc… It will be Dark side theme probably in whole sleeve.

Making of. . .

Small changes had to do. lightsaber were twisting too much to left and place needed to go more to the center. Original pic was good but sword hand had to change. Now it stands straight and will be great starting place for this big Star Wars theme sleeve. (7Flat shader and 9Round shader) were used during this project. Only color is black, hint of white and green to the details… Sure there was one “Wow-Factor” in this work and that’s so called black light ink, red was this color and I added it to the lightsaber, glow in front of vader, buttons in suit, that’s it.. All the rest is black!

Place to tat was good to work because streching is easy on this area, shading was hard thing to do and  this close to wrist it’s kind painful after short while.

What I learned. . ?

After this one I know so many things… Stencil is definitely most important part of this and marking all those black places matters most.

“Don’t underestimate the power of the dark side”

Thats all for now… C-Ya!

Tattoos and People’s Understanding

Amen to that…

Body Branding Tattoo Magazine

In this day and age Tattoos appear to be becoming increasingly more popular.

So what’s occurred and how have things changed over time? We appear to have proceeded from a society who judges the novel by its cover, to a society were we value self value and others thoughts.

Half Sleeve Tattoos

The various phases which you go through and the occasions which are generally memorable.
So what’s your understanding? Do you do you despise warriors or enjoy tattoos? Pretty much like marmite actually. But they’ll constantly be around and folks will constantly express their interests through them.

Ink and Candy

What an cool idea…

ASHLILI.co

Because I restarted the blog on an honest note, I’ve decided to finally talk about my ink (tattoos) and my candy (piercings). I never really elaborated on them before for fear of what everyone might think of me. Living in the Philippines makes it especially difficult, since this is the land of, as I’d like to call them, the close-minded HypoChristians. Hypocrite Christians. Get it? Haha.

(Don’t get me wrong, though. I love and believe in my Creator. I just don’t agree with religion and most of its practices. Also, I am not saying that ALL religious people are hypocrites. Just saying before anybody reacts violently hehe.)

As I’ve said before, I am so done with hiding. And hellooo it’s 2015, people! Having tattoos and piercings doesn’t make a person bad. Just like how being religious doesn’t necessarily make a person good. And nope, we aren’t murderers. Nor are…
